NICK CANNON GETS NEW YORK RADIO GIG.
CBS Radio’s 92.3 NOW (WXRK) New York has announced the addition of Nick Cannon as the station’s morning drive host, beginning on Tuesday, January 19. Cannon will be heard from 6 to 10 a.m. on-air, online and through a variety of mobile devices including the iPhone, iPod Touch, Blackberry and Zune. The four-hour program anchored by Cannon will feature a mix of popular music, celebrity interviews, pop culture and lifestyle discussions. “I have been immersed in the entertainment business for more than half my life,” said Cannon. “With continued success in television, film and music both on and off camera, in addition to directing, writing and producing, radio is both an exciting and natural next step in my career.
